Min-Hsiung Shih received
a B.S. in Physics in 1995 from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan,
Taiwan and continued on to obtain a M.S. in Physics
in 1997 from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. He worked with UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) systems, X-ray
diffraction (GIXD) and Synchrotron radiation source for his master
thesis in Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (SRRC), Hsinchu, Taiwan. Currently
he is working towards a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrophysics at
University of Southern California. His main research focuses on photonic crystal waveguide design and
fabrication, beam steering and Green's function calculations.
